Papeteries de Genval 1904-1954

Brussels, Dotreville, 1954, 24 x 29 cm. Nicely illustrated book about the history of the Genval paper makers. Good condition: binding a bit fragile, presence of tape on the covers.

The Genval paper mills, founded in 1904 by Auguste Lannoye in Belgium, ended it’s journey in 1965 with the bankruptcy of the Balamundi group to which it belonged. This company distinguished itself by investing in balatum and kraft paper as well as in the production of wallpaper. This book traces the history of this company.
